The Sree Krishna
Temple at Bhuvanagiri, in the Telco Colony, Jamshedpur was established in 1987
by the kerelieeya Adhyatmika samithi . it is situated on top of a hill. The main
deity of a Temple is Lord Mahavishnu, in the form of Shree Krishna of
guruvayoor. The installation was done on 19th June, 1987. The sanctum sanctorum
was built by side of the Bhuvaneswari temple. Apart from these, there is a Maha
Ganapathy Temple, Hanuman Mandir, Ayyappa Temple and a Navagraha Temple in the
complex. All these were built as offering by the devotees. There are Mandapams
also in the complex that is used regularly by devotees for spiritual
congregations as well as for marriages that are conducted in the temple.
Recitation of Narayaneeyam is given unique importance in the temple. The main
festival is in connection with the installation day of the lord. it is a three
day festival. It is celebrated with religious rites under the tanthri as well as
Panchavadyam, Thayampaka etc. It comes to a conclusion with a holy bath in the
temple followed by Anna Danam
